Rolfing®
Rolfing® Structural Integration is a hands-on therapy that combines manual therapy and movement reeducation to prevent and treat different types of muscle-skeletal issues, alleviate chronic structural pain and tension, improve posture and enhance body overall physical function. Originally created in the USA, the method works complementary to medical and physiotherapeutic treatment, optimizing and accelerating therapeutic results.
Manual Therapy
Structural component of the treatment, it is a deep tissue manipulation that
focuses on releasing tension and restriction on the myofascial system, significantly improving
the range of motion and resulting in immediate pain relief.

Movement Reeducation
Dynamic component of the treatment, it is focused on improving
posture, body awareness and increasing overall physical capacity to optimize functional,
sporting and work movements, preventing flare-ups and bringing long-term benefits.

How does the treatment work?
There are mainly two different therapeutic approaches: a standardized treatment knonw as “TheRolfing® Ten-Series” and a non-standardized process, based on individual needs and goals.
The Rolfing® Ten-Series:
Hallmark of Rolfing®, this process seeks to systematically balance and optimize the entire myofascial system throughout ten sessions to work the whole body to integrate all structures.
Non-standardized approach:
Based on individual needs and on the Rolfer™ assessment and insights, this process focuses on particular complaints and areas of improvement.
In this scenario, the duration and frequency of treatment is a shared decision, which depends on
individual progress and preferences.
Overall, the sessions combine the structural and dynamic components over a one-hour treatment, bringing immediate relief and implementing specific exercises to prolong results.
